Social accountability and sexual and reproductive health - Implications for Research and Practice
Research
This International Journal for Equity in health article collection brings together research, discussions and implementation experience in social accountability applied to sexual and reproductive health. The collection aims to explore the implications, the challenges and successes of implementing and researching complex and context-driven interventions, such as social accountability. This supplement was developed with the financial support of the UNDP-UNFPA-UNICEF-WHO-World Bank Special Programme of Research, Development and Research Training in Human Reproduction (HRP), a cosponsored programme executed by the World Health Organization (WHO). Information about the source of funding for individual studies and for publication charges can be found in the individual articles. The articles have undergone the journal's standard peer review process for supplements. The Supplement Editors declare that they have no competing interests. The named authors alone are responsible for the views expressed in this article, and they do not necessarily represent the views, decisions or policies of the institutions with which they are affiliated.
